Ukraine has unique offer for Latin American countries - Kuleba
Ukraine has a unique comprehensive offer for Latin American countries, which consists of four main elements.
Dmytro Kuleba, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, said this in a column for RBC-Ukraine entitled "Latin America as a Key to Strengthening Ukraine's Position," Ukrinform reports.
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted that Latin America is one of the most promising regions of the Global South, a growing economic and political power and a space of dynamic development.
"The most influential international players are already going there to increase their presence and strengthen economic cooperation... Ukraine has a unique and comprehensive offer for Latin American countries consisting of four main elements," Kuleba said.
According to him, this includes provisions. According to the Foreign Minister, despite the fact that most Latin American countries are agro-industrial, they all need provisions and are not yet protected from the food crisis.
Another element is highly educated personnel. In this context, Kuleba reminded that over the past 10-15 years, Ukraine has trained 600-700 qualified specialists annually for Latin American countries. "It is important to resume and strengthen this vector of work. Ukrainian professionals in the world are our intellectual added value, which strengthens cooperation and Ukraine's authority in the international arena," the minister emphasized.
The third component of the comprehensive offer is Ukrainian technological equipment for the rapid development of Latin American industries. "All continental and some island countries in Latin America have developed mining industries that require equipment and machinery. We have always been one of the traditional suppliers of energy equipment for hydroelectric power plants and thermal power plants: turbines, transformers, generators," the Foreign Minister said.
Fourth, most Latin American countries are interested in Ukraine's experience and world-class achievements in digitalization, cybersecurity, IT, and creative industries, Kuleba said.
He also emphasized that Ukraine exports not only goods and technologies. "We export security, confidence, predictability, maximum transparency and trust, as well as an attractive vision of a new world order, which Ukrainians defend with arms in hand," the head of Ukrainian diplomacy emphasized.
