Dmytro Kuleba begins first-ever visit to Guatemala by Ukraine‘s foreign minister
Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba has begun the first-ever visit of head of Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry to Guatemala.
Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrij Melnyk wrote this on his Twitter account, Ukrinform reports.
“Dmytro Kuleba arrived in Guatemala. It’s the first visit ever of Ukraine‘s foreign minister to this powerful country. Guatemala is becoming our key ally in Central America strongly supporting Ukraine’s sovereignty and helping Ukraine to reach out to the Caribbean,” he wrote and thanked Minister for Foreign Affairs of Guatemala Mario Bucaro.
As reported, Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba will participate in the Council of Ministers of the Association of Caribbean States as part of his visit.
Guatemala became the first Latin American country to join the Core Group on establishing a Special Tribunal for Russia’s crimes of aggression against Ukraine.
