Fight against corruption sign of Ukraine's focus on future - British ambassador

British Ambassador Melinda Simmons considers billboards warning against corruption in wartime to be a sign of Ukraine's focus on the future.

Simmons expressed her opinion on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"The fact that Ukrainians are focused not only on the present, but also on the future is evidenced by the billboards warning against corruption amid war," the British ambassador wrote in a caption to the photo of the board saying "Corruption kills! Especially during war."

As reported earlier, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal of Ukraine stated that the key idea and philosophy of the government's anti-corruption strategy is to create conditions where abuse and corruption would be simply impossible.
