Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"I spoke today with French Ambassador to Ukraine Etienne de Poncins about the current humanitarian situation in the region and further cooperation with France... I told about the situation in the region, and paid special attention to the scale of destruction in our largest free cities - Sloviansk and Kramatorsk. The ambassador saw the destruction with his own eyes," the regional governor wrote.

He reminded that the ambassador has been in Ukraine for almost four years and is aware of the projects implemented by France in Donetsk region. In particular, since Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the French organizations ACTED and U-Saved have provided invaluable assistance to civilians in the frontline regions: water, food products, power generators, and potbelly stoves. They also contributed to the reconstruction of destroyed housing.

"I am confident that the French Republic will continue to be our reliable partner in the reconstruction of Donetsk region," Kyrylenko said and thanked Etienne de Poncins and the entire French people for supporting Ukraine during the war.

As reported, Donetsk region is under constant Russian fire. Every day, the enemy kills and injures civilians and damages infrastructure facilities.
