President Zelensky starts visit to Saudi Arabia
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I have arrived in Saudi Arabia. I will speak at the Summit of the League of Arab States. I will meet with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud and hold other bilateral talks,” Zelensky wrote.
The Head of State noted that Ukraine’s priorities include the return of all political prisoners from Crimea and other territories, which are temporarily seized by Russian invaders, as well as all of those taken prisoner and illegally deported citizens.
President Zelensky is planning to present the Ukrainian Peace Formula. In his words, it is necessary to involve as many states as possible in the implementation of this formula, as well as ensure energy security for the next winter period.
“Another priority is the protection of the Muslim community of Ukraine. Mustafa Dzhemilev, the leader of the Crimean Tatar people, is together with us. Crimea was the first to suffer from the Russian occupation, and most of those facing repression in the occupied Crimea are Muslims,” the President of Ukraine added.
A reminder that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky offered to create a full-fledged memorial to victims of the genocide of the Crimean Tatar people.
