Ukraine's president meets with representatives of UAE, Oman, Kuwait

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has held meetings with the heads of delegations of the United Arab Emirates, the Sultanate of Oman and the State of Kuwait.

The talks took place as part of the president's visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the Arab League summit, Ukrinform reports, citing the press service of the head of state.

During the negotiations with Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the head of state informed him about the situation at the front and Ukraine's repelling Russia's full-scale aggression.

Both parties paid special attention to the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula and the possibility of involving as many countries as possible, including the UAE, in this process.

The participants in the meeting also discussed global food security and the work of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

According to the report, both parties agreed to exchange delegations to achieve concrete results and cooperation.

In addition, topical issues of trade, economic and investment cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

During a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman, Special Representative of the Sultan at International Forums Asaad bin Tarik Al Said, the parties discussed the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.

The president emphasized the importance of supporting Ukraine's peaceful efforts by the countries of the region.

The parties discussed bilateral cooperation between Ukraine and Oman and possible future contacts.

During the negotiations with Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the head of state expressed gratitude to Kuwait for its consistent support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine against the background of countering full-scale Russian aggression, which was repeatedly confirmed in the course of voting for the relevant resolutions of the UN General Assembly.

Zelensky emphasized the prospects for practical cooperation between Ukraine and Kuwait in a number of humanitarian issues. He thanked Kuwait for supporting Ukraine in the energy sector. Both parties agreed to enhance cooperation in these areas.
