Zelensky meets with Macron in Japan
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with President of France Emmanuel Macron as part of his working visit to Japan.
“As part of a working visit to Japan to participate in the G7 Summit, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron. The Head of State thanked France for important decisions regarding military and humanitarian support for Ukraine,” the President’s Office informs.
Zelensky noted the importance of France's support for the fighter jet coalition and the country's participation in the training mission for Ukrainian pilots.
The President of Ukraine emphasized the priority of implementing the Ukrainian Peace Formula and involving as many countries as possible in this process.
He briefed the President of France on his fruitful visit to the Arab League summit.
Zelensky thanked Macron for starting the implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to France on May 13 and continuing defense cooperation.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky met with Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Rishi Sunak and Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi as part of his visit to Japan.
