Ukraine supports Georgia, ready to share experience of fighting Russia - NSDC secretary

Ukraine supports Georgia and will share with the nation its experience of fighting off Russia.

That’s according to Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, who delivered his statement via Twitter, reports Ukrinform.

"Georgia will win for sure and leave in the past the dark times that have now been thrust upon it from the northern vile swamps. Ukrainians will be by your side in this struggle of the free against the slaves. It hurts that now the russian darkness is strangling free Georgia, but we will share the experience of our struggle and we know that Georgia will be Free and Independent, territorially integral and sovereign!" Danilov wrote.

As reported, protests took place in Tbilisi against the resumption of direct air traffic between the Russian Federation and Georgia, which had been interrupted in 2019.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on cancelling visas for Georgia nationals and allowing the resumption of direct flights to and from this country.

On May 19, Russia’s air carrier Azimut made the first direct flight from Moscow to Tbilisi in four years.
