Zelensky meets with Albania, North Macedonia PMs in Moldova

During his visit to Moldova, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Prime Ministers Edi Rama of Albania and Dimitar Kovacevski of North Macedonia and thanked them for supporting sanctions against Russia.

The head of state announced this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"In Moldova, on the sidelines of the second summit of the European Political Community, I met with Prime Minister of the Republic of Albania Edi Rama and Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia Dimitar Kovacevski. I thanked the leaders for their consistent comprehensive support of Ukraine and practical assistance in the fight against Russian aggression, in particular for the Balkan countries' accession to all EU sanctions packages against Russia," Zelensky said.

President Volodymyr Zelensky is on a visit to Moldova on Thursday, where a summit of the European Political Community is taking place on June 1-2 with the participation of 47 presidents and prime ministers, as well as heads of European institutions.
