Demining, defense enterprises: Zelensky outlines details of his meeting with Estonian president

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of Estonia Alar Karis discussed the possibilities of creating joint defense enterprises and involving Estonian experts in the demining of Ukrainian territory.

Zelensky announced this at a joint press conference with the Estonian leader in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"We agreed on certain cooperation in demining Ukrainian territories, including by Estonian specialists with their Estonian equipment. The possibilities of creating joint defense production in Ukraine were discussed in detail," Zelensky said.

He also informed his Estonian colleague about the situation at the front.

"We can definitely prepare more of our powerful steps at the front together. I told about certain urgent needs of our army," Zelensky noted.

 The leaders also discussed the reconstruction of Ukraine, preparations for international events, in particular for the upcoming NATO summit.

Zelensky thanked the Estonian partners for their support and assistance for Ukraine - both with weapons and political assistance, sanctions against Russia, etc.

As reported, President of Estonia Alar Karis is visiting Kyiv on Friday. Estonia was the first to start practical reconstruction projects in Ukraine. In particular, a kindergarten was opened in Ovruch in Zhytomyr region.
