Shmyhal, UAE minister discuss humanitarian demining, Grain from Ukraine initiative
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal discussed humanitarian demining, the Grain from Ukraine initiative and President Zelensky's peace formula with Mariam Almheiri, Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates, Head of the Office of International Affairs under the President of the UAE.
In a Facebook post, Shmyhal wrote: "We appreciate the humanitarian assistance provided by the UAE during the full-scale war."
According to the Prime Minister, he spoke about the Kakhovka HPP destruction, stressing that this terrorist act by Russian forces caused an environmental and humanitarian catastrophe to the south of Ukraine.
"We also touched on the issue of humanitarian demining, the Grain from Ukraine initiative and the peace formula proposed by the President of Ukraine," Shmyhal noted.
According to him, both countries continue to intensify relations and search for joint economic projects.
"Ukraine is interested in the further dynamic development of cooperation with the UAE. Firstly, in the economic and investment spheres, including the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects," Shmyhal emphasized.
As reported by Ukrinform, President Volodymyr Zelensky and Minister of Climate Change and Environment of the United Arab Emirates Mariam Almheiri discussed the consequences of Russian environmental crimes in Ukraine.
