Time for clarity on Ukraine’s NATO membership has come – FM Kuleba

In a phone call with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized that the time for clarity on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance had come.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“During our call today, I commended NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg for his efforts to make the NATO summit in Vilnius a success. Ukraine continues to work actively with all NATO allies to convince them that the time for clarity on Ukraine’s membership in the Alliance has come,” Kuleba wrote.

A reminder that Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Oksana Markarova stated earlier that Ukraine was cooperating with the American side to determine certain prospects for the country’s guaranteed Euro-Atlantic integration.

According to Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov, at the NATO Summit in Vilnius, Ukraine expects to receive a guarantee of an invitation to join NATO after the country’s victory in the war, as the three key prerequisites for being a member of the Alliance have been successfully implemented.
