Zelensky: Next six months would be decisive for start of EU accession talks
Before the visit of Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez to Kyiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky gave an interview to Spanish journalists, where he mentioned the situation at the ZNPP, the split in Russia, and Ukraine’s expectations from the NATO Summit in Vilnius.
“It is with the visit to Ukraine that Madrid begins its six-month EU presidency. For us, it would be decisive six months regarding the start of accession negotiations. We count on Spain's support in this. We have a common task – to work with the countries of Latin America and involve as many of them as possible in the implementation of our Peace Formula,” Zelensky posted on Telegram.
As reported, Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sánchez arrived in Ukraine on the first day of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
