Ukraine's president meets with Spain's PM

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has met with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.

The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Pedro Sanchez, Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for your important visit and support of our people! It is extremely symbolic that this visit takes place on the very first day of the Spanish Presidency of the EU. Our common European home cannot be imagined without Ukraine, without our courage and commitment to freedom and justice," Zelensky said.

Sanchez is visiting Ukraine on Saturday. He has already delivered a speech in the Verkhovna Rada.
