Ammo, military equipment: Zelensky outlines joint projects of Ukraine, Czech Republic

Ukraine and the Czech Republic can significantly enhance cooperation between their military and industrial complexes, and will do so.

The relevant statement was made by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Petr Fiala in Prague, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Today, we have spoken in detail not only about the supply but also the new production, and it is very important. Our states can significantly strengthen cooperation between the military and industrial complexes, and will do so. We discussed specific projects on ammunition, military equipment,” Zelensky said.

The corresponding memorandum was signed by the Ukrainian Strategic Industries Ministry and the Czech Defence Ministry.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine and the Czech Republic have specific projects related to cooperation in the energy sector.

Additionally, Czech businesses will be actively involved in Ukraine’s reconstruction, transformation and infrastructure development.

The President of Ukraine thanked the Czech Republic for supporting the European integration and Euro-Atlantic aspirations of Ukrainians, and protecting the Ukrainian citizens who had been forced to flee the country due to Russia’s full-scale invasion.
