Biden, Erdogan discuss support for Ukraine
U.S. President Joe Biden spoke with President of Türkiye Recep Tayyıp Erdoğan in advance of the NATO Summit in Vilnius, Lithuania.
This is said in a report published on the website of the White House, Ukrinform reports.
“They discussed the range of issues that NATO leaders will consider at the Summit, expressed their shared commitment to continue supporting Ukraine,” the report says.
It is noted that the Presidents reviewed efforts to strengthen the bilateral ties.
President Biden also conveyed his desire to welcome Sweden into NATO as soon as possible.
As earlier reported, the United States, the UK, France and Germany at the NATO summit this week intend to unveil security guarantees for Ukraine, which other countries can join.
