Ukraine, Sweden sign agreements on defense procurement, exchange of classified information
Ukraine and Sweden have signed in Vilnius the agreements on cooperation in defense procurement and on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.
Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksii Reznikov reported this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
In particular, the agreement on cooperation in the field of defense procurement "provides great opportunities both for our Armed Forces and for Swedish companies like SAAB and others," Reznikov said.
In addition, he announced the signing of an agreement between the two countries on the exchange and mutual protection of classified information.
"Trust is the cornerstone of a strong partnership. And access to information is the key to success," Reznikov wrote.
A two-day NATO summit is taking place in Vilnius.
