South Korean president arrives in Ukraine on unannounced visit
South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol has arrived in Ukraine on an unannounced visit.
Ukrinform reports this with reference to Yonhap.
Yoon and first lady Kim Keon Hee arrived in Ukraine from Poland, according to senior presidential secretary for press affairs Kim Eun-hye.
“Yoon visited the site of mass killings in Bucha, near Kyiv, before visiting Irpin, a civilian residential area that has been subject to large-scale missile attacks,” the report says.
It is noted that Yoon will meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
Earlier, the South Korean leader visited Lithuania for the NATO summit, as well as Poland for an official visit.
