Russia using foreign components for its weapons another argument to toughen sanctions - Zelensky
Every exposed fact where Russia uses spare parts and other components from the free world countries to manufacture own weapons will serve is yet another argument for expanding sanctions pressure.
That’s according to President Volodymyr Zelensky’s address issued late Tuesday, reports Ukrinform.
"Every fact of using components from the countries of the free world to produce weapons for Russian terrorists, in particular, missiles and Shaheds... Every such fact will be our argument that the existing sanctions and pressure against Russia are not enough,” the president stressed.
Zelensky believes the world must “limit trade relations with a terrorist state to such an extent that no component from the free world can be used for terror... Every such fact will be our argument that the existing sanctions and pressure against Russia are not enough," the President said.
As reported, the head of the President's Office, Andriy Yermak, published a photo of a foreign engine carburetor found among the debris from a Shahed-136/131 type one-way attack drone Russia launched at Mykolaiv.
The official called for toughening sanctions in this regard.
