Ukrainian president, Swedish PM to discuss defense cooperation

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky plans to discuss defense cooperation, including the supply of CV-90 IFVs, during his talks with Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson.

The head of state announced this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Starting talks with Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson. We have a broad agenda, but defense cooperation is one of the top priorities. Including powerful Swedish CV-90s," Zelensky said.

According to him, Ukrainian soldiers are already using CV-90s on the battlefield.

"We also intend to produce them in Ukraine," he added.

Zelensky and Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelensky arrived in Sweden on Saturday, August 19.
