Zelensky, Montenegro president discuss preparations for Global Peace Summit

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with President of Montenegro Jakov Milatovic within the framework of the Ukraine-Balkans Summit in Athens and discussed support for the Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Peace Summit.

The head of the Ukrainian state said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

 “I met with Jakov Milatovic to thank Montenegro for its humanitarian, military, and political support, as well as for joining the G7 Declaration on security guarantees for Ukraine. We discussed Montenegro’s support for the Peace Formula as we prepare for the Global Peace Summit,” the President wrote.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Greece on a visit on Monday evening.

Ukraine wants to hold the Global Peace Summit this autumn.
