President Zelensky thanks Polish people for their support of Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed gratitude to the Polish people for their support of Ukraine.
The relevant statement was made by the Head of State on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Always good to speak with Andrzej Duda. Thanks for warm wishes on our Independence Day. In 1991, Poland recognized our independence immediately after the referendum. It was a leader then and remains a leader now. I’m sincerely grateful to the Polish people for all the support,” Zelensky wrote.
A reminder that, on August 24, 2023, Ukraine is marking the 32nd anniversary of its independence.
