Government dismisses Kruk as State Emergency Service head

The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Serhiy Kruk as head of the State Emergency Service.

Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"The government decided to dismiss Serhiy Kruk from the post of head of the State Emergency Service. The duties of the State Emergency Service head will be performed by the Service deputy head, Volodymyr Demchuk," said Klymenko.

He clarified that the internal inspection at the State Emergency Service has been completed.

"Additional staff decisions will be made based on its results. The State Emergency Service works as usual," the minister emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported, the government approved several decisions on staff replacements at its meeting on August 19.
