Kuleba, Albares discuss Ukraine’s EU accession talks, military aid from Spain
Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba and Spanish Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation Minister José Manuel Albares have discussed the opening of Ukraine’s EU accession talks and further military aid from Spain.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba on the social media platform X, following the negotiations in Toledo, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“I applaud Spain’s EU Presidency. Opening Ukraine’s EU accession talks in 2023 is top priority. Ukraine is making all the necessary steps, and so does the EU. We also discussed expanding Spain’s much-appreciated military aid to Ukraine,” Kuleba wrote.
A reminder that this week Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba is paying a working visit to the Czech Republic, the French Republic, and the Kingdom of Spain.
On August 31, 2023, the chief of Ukrainian diplomacy will attend an informal meeting of EU foreign affairs ministers in Toledo, Spain.
