Zelensky discusses further Ukraine–Canada defense cooperation with Trudeau
In a phone conversation with Justin Trudeau, Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the implementation of the agreements reached during his visit to Canada, as well as the continuation of defense cooperation.
"I am in constant contact with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau. During a phone conversation, the implementation of the agreements reached during my visit to Canada was discussed, in particular, regarding the development of our hydroelectricity generation and the completion of construction of the Holodomor-Genocide museum," the Head of State posted on Telegram.
In addition, the leaders touched upon continued defense cooperation and global security challenges.
"I thank Justin for his willingness to help with the evacuation of our people from the Gaza Strip. I am also grateful to Canada for supporting the Peace Formula," the President noted.
As reported by Ukrinform, Canada provided a new security assistance package to Ukraine for conducting military operations in the cold season.
