Zelensky, PM of Denmark discuss support for Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen discussed in a phone conversation the importance of further long-term macroeconomic support for Ukraine and agreed on future joint steps in regional and global formats.
As Zelensky posted on Telegram, he thanked Frederiksen for the recent visit of the Minister of Defense of Denmark to Ukraine and all the comprehensive and timely assistance provided by this country, in particular for the patronage that Denmark took over Mykolaiv.
Zelensky and Frederiksen underscored the importance of further long-term macroeconomic support for Ukraine, agreed on future joint steps in regional and global formats and discussed the preservation of unity in Europe and the implementation of the Ukrainian Peace Formula.
The President expressed gratitude for the organization of the first meeting of advisers in Copenhagen and for Denmark's willingness to send its representative to the next meeting in Malta.
As reported, Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Minister of Defense of Denmark Troels Lund Poulsen discussed the transfer of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine.
