Head of State outlines Ukraine’s major gains in past year

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky believes that the preserved national flag is one of Ukraine’s major achievements.

The relevant statement was made by the Head of State during his end-of-year press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukraine’s yellow and blue flag is our major victory. This is the key thing that we will preserve for our future generations,” Zelensky said.

Among other gains, the President of Ukraine mentioned the country’s historic victory in terms of European future and path towards justice.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine is walking this path with great sacrifice.

“We are fighting for our own future, not for what the Russian Federation wants to choose for us. A historic victory for Ukraine is very serious. We have passed two waves: the start of negotiations on EU membership and the full-scale war,” President Zelensky emphasized.

The Head of State expressed gratitude to all the Ukrainian military who had saved Ukraine, allowing the country to gain a historic victory on its path towards EU membership.
