Danilov: Lack of courage and determination among Ukraine's partners is main risk in war
Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksii Danilov believes that the indecision of international partners in supporting Ukraine may prevent the complete defeat of the Putin regime.
He expressed this opinion on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"The lack of courage and determination is the main risk that exists today and may prevent Ukraine from achieving its goals - to destroy the Putin regime through its complete and unconditional defeat in the criminal war it has unleashed. And it is not Ukrainians who lack courage. The winner in this war will be the one who will not be afraid of the imaginary "limitless" Russian resources, or the mobilization of additional "millions" of soldiers of the obedient Russian herd, or Putin's main nightmare - nuclear weapons," Danilov said.
According to him, the main risks are "indecision and half-measures that the world's democracies can show."
"To wound, but not to kill. This is exactly what Putin's nest is counting on," the NSDC Secretary emphasized.
He recalled the "exhausting and lengthy - when time is of the essence - discussions about whether Ukraine needs military aircraft in a full-scale conventional war, whether the offensive can be carried out without tanks, and the defense without shells."
"That is why Ukraine and Ukrainians are the first to set an example of courage and firmness - to stand our ground and demand the fulfillment of fair demands. And in this we are ready to go as far as necessary. Confrontation of the unbreakable is the main content of this stage of the war," Danilov emphasized.
As reported, Danilov said that the best guarantee of security for Ukraine and the world is the systematic and consistent destruction of the Putin regime.
