Danish FM arrives in Ukraine and has to go into hiding at night
Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løekke Rasmussen is in Ukraine and had to go down to the shelter at night during the air raid.
He announced this on Instagram, Ukrinform reports.
"Today I am in Ukraine for the fourth time as Foreign Minister. I didn't have a good rest because last night there was an air raid alert, and we had to go to a hotel for shelter. We were lucky with heat and water. Not all Ukrainians, who constantly live with air alert, are so lucky," the Danish diplomat said.
As reported, the total amount of military aid provided by Denmark to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war is about USD 3 billion.
The Kingdom of Denmark has also pledged to systematically assist in the restoration of the facilities destroyed by Russia in Mykolaiv, including residential buildings, economic, social, and transportation infrastructure.
