Macron to take part in Summit on Peace in Ukraine

The Elysee Palace says French President Emmanuel Macron will take part in the Summit on Peace in Ukraine, which will be held in Switzerland on June 15 and 16.

The press service of the Elysee Palace announced this during a telephone press conference dedicated to Zelensky’s upcoming visit to France.

"The president will take part in the summit," Macron's administration confirmed.

"Toward the long-term military support of Ukraine, France intends to provide political and diplomatic assistance," they emphasized.

As reported by Ukrinform, 107 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation in the Peace Summit in Switzerland. Vice President Kamala Harris will represent the United States.
