Zelensky invites Peruvian President to Peace Summit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has invited Peruvian President Dina Boluarte to take part in the Peace Summit in Switzerland.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky made the announcement in his Telegram.

According to the Head of State, he had his first telephone conversation with Boluarte and thanked him for the concrete steps he had taken to support Ukraine, its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Peru has voted in favour of key UN resolutions and the termination of Russia's status as a permanent observer at the Organisation of American States, Zelensky noted.

He "called for another step in support of Ukraine and a just peace - to take part in the Peace Summit in Switzerland. "This will strengthen the representation of Latin America," he added.

More than 100 countries and international organisations have confirmed their participation in the summit.
