Peace Summit, support for Ukraine: chief of Zelensky’s office meets with Italy’s intel chief

The head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, on Saturday held a meeting with the Director General of Italy’s Intelligence and Security Department, Elisabetta Belloni.

The official reported this via X, Ukrinform reports.

"Met with the G7/G20 Sherpa and Director General of the Department of Intelligence and Security of Italy, Elisabetta Belloni. Thanked her for inviting President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky to the G7 summit," the statement reads.

Yermak conveyed a request to lobby the participation of the Global South nations in the inaugural Summit on Peace in Ukraine and thanked Italy for supporting Ukraine.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the head of the Ukrainian President’s Office, Andriy Yermak, held a meeting with Pope Francis to discuss the Ukrainian Peace Formula and preparations for the Global Summit on peace in Ukraine.
