Zelensky, Christodoulides discuss talks on Ukraine's accession to EU

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Cypriot President Nikos Christodoulides have discussed the expected decisions regarding the approval of the negotiating framework and the start of talks on Ukraine's accession to the European Union in June.

That's according to the Facebook page of the Ukrainian leader, Ukrinform reports.

The meeting between the two took place on the sidelines of the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland.

"We discussed the next steps in implementing the Peace Formula and the anticipated start of Ukraine's EU accession talks in June following the recent negotiating framework approval," Zelensky said.

He thanked Cyprus for all the assistance provided to Ukraine.
