The list of nations that supported the joint communiqué of the inaugural Summit on Peace in Ukraine decreased from 80 to 78.
This is reported by Suspilne, Ukraine’s public broadcaster, Ukrinform saw.
In the list of countries that supported the joint communiqué of the Peace Summit, published by the Swiss government, there are now 78 countries, not 80 as announced earlier, the report reads.
The signatures of Iraq and Jordan are now missing, with the reasons currently being unclear.
The full list of signatories is available on the website of the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
As reported by Ukrinform, the first Peace Summit was held in the Swiss resort of Bürgenstock on June 15-16.
A communique was adopted following the event. The document reflects the position of the participants on the three issues: nuclear security, food security, and the humanitarian dimension – the exchange of prisoners and return of abducted Ukrainian children.
The Communiqué remains open for signing.
As Volodymyr Zelensky reported earlier, the documents worked out at the Peace Summit would be handed over to the representatives from the Russian Federation.
