Zelensky thanks everyone who does not forget about Ukraine and Ukrainians
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked everyone who has not forgotten Ukraine and Ukrainians since the beginning of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The head of state said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
"Everyone who has defended their freedom, their rights, their independence, and dignity also strengthens the freedom of those around them," Zelensky said.
He stressed that "freedom always has the ability to grow stronger, spreading from one person to another, and the only way freedom can advance is through the courage of people."
"I thank everyone standing up for Ukraine, resisting Russian pressure, everyone who is working and helping, and who, in these days and throughout the whole time of this war, does not forget Ukraine and Ukrainians, our struggle and the importance of protecting human life," Zelensky said.
Zelensky said at a press conference in Switzerland that the assistance provided by international partners to Ukraine was serious but not sufficient for victory and that the work on strengthening aid packages for the country was ongoing.
