Second Peace Summit may take place in Global South country - Kuleba

Ukraine is determined to hold the second Peace Summit in a Global South country.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this on Ukrainian television.

"Not only Saudi Arabia is under consideration. We are really determined to hold the second Summit in a country of the so-called 'Global South.' And there are several players who are interested in holding the second Summit," he said.

Kuleba said that the time between the first and second summits "will not be empty." According to him, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed in Switzerland with the leaders of Europe, Latin America, and Africa to hold thematic events on each point of the Ukrainian Peace Formula in the interim between the first and second summits to form a negotiating position.

"That is, a lot of work will be done now to enter the second summit with the strongest possible position supported by the maximum number of countries," Kuleba said.
