Ukraine and EU sign agreement on security cooperation
Before the start of the European Council's working session, the leaders of Ukraine and the EU signed the Joint Security Commitments between the European Union and Ukraine in the presence of the leaders of the EU member states.
This was reported by an Ukrinform correspondent.
The document was signed by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, President of the European Council Charles Michel and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen.
As previously reported, a two-day meeting of the European Council has begun in Brussels today, with one of the main issues being the strengthening of EU military and economic assistance to Ukraine. At the beginning of the European Council, EU leaders met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
