Slovenian president honors fallen soldiers in Lviv
Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar and the leadership of the Lviv regional military administration have honored the memory of fallen soldiers on the Field of Mars in Lviv.
Lviv regional governor Maksym Kozytskyi announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"President of the Republic of Slovenia Natasa Pirc Musar arrived for the first time on a working visit to the Lviv region. First of all, we laid flowers on the Field of Mars at the grave of an unknown Ukrainian soldier who died in the current Russian-Ukrainian war. [...] The people of Slovenia share our pain and stand in solidarity with us in our struggle. We honored the memory of all fallen Ukrainian defenders and defendresses," Kozytskyi said.
According to him, flowers were also laid at the monument to Slovenian soldiers who died during the First World War.
Slovenian President Natasa Pirc Musar arrived in Ukraine on June 28. In Bucha, Kyiv region, she visited a mass grave of civilians killed by the Russian military during the occupation of the city.
