Kuleba had phone conversation with new FM of Netherlands

During a telephone conversation with the newly appointed Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the need to supply Ukraine with the Patriot air defense system.

According to Ukrinform, Kuleba wrote about this on the social network X.

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister thanked Veldkamp for confirming the Netherlands' unwavering support for Ukraine. According to Kuleba, the European country will continue to provide military assistance to Kyiv, exert sanctions pressure on Russia, bring Russia to justice for its crimes, and deal with the issue of abducted Ukrainian children.

"I particularly emphasized the necessity of a swift delivery of the announced Patriot air defense system to Ukraine and expressed appreciation of the continuity of Dutch leadership in all respective areas," Kuleba said in a statement.

As Ukrinform reported, at the end of May, Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren said that the Netherlands, together with its allies, were trying to quickly assemble one Patriot air defense system for Ukraine and would hand it over to Kyiv as soon as possible.
