CoE secretary general condemns Russian attack on Ukraine

Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejcinovic Buric has condemned this morning's Russian missile attack on Ukraine.

She reported this on the social media platform X, according to Ukrinform.

"I condemn in the strongest terms today's Russian attacks on Kyiv which targeted civilians. These crimes won't go unpunished," she said in the post.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Russians launched more than 40 missiles of various types at cities across Ukraine on July 8. Residential buildings, infrastructure and a children's hospital were damaged.
