Zaluzhnyi hands over copies of his credentials and begins his work as ambassador to Britain
The new Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, presented copies of his credentials to the Vice Marshal of the diplomatic corps accredited to the Royal Palace, the head of the Protocol Unit, Victoria Busby.
According to Ukrinform, the relevant information was published on Valerii Zaluzhnyi's Telegram channel.
"I continue to serve Ukraine. I took up the duties of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I presented copies of my credentials to the Deputy Marshal of the diplomatic corps accredited at the Royal Palace, the head of the structural unit for protocol of the Foreign Office, Victoria Busby," Zaluzhnyi said in a statement.
He stressed that Ukraine's victory in the war with the Russian aggressor remains the main priority of his activities and the activities of the Embassy of Ukraine in the United Kingdom.
As Ukrinform reported, the procedure for appointing Valerii Zaluzhnyi as Ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom was launched in early March, and on May 9, President Volodymyr Zelensky issued a decree.
