Zelensky on attack targeting Trump: “Such violence has no justification”

"I am appalled to learn about the shooting of former U.S. President Donald Trump at his rally in Pennsylvania. Such violence has no justification and no place anywhere in the world. Never should violence prevail," Zelensky emphasized.
He said he was “relieved” to learn that Donald Trump is now safe and wished him a speedy recovery.
Zelensky also expressed his condolences to the families of the gunman’s victim, a rally attendee.
"I extend my wishes for strength to everyone who is horrified by this event. I wish America emerges stronger from this," the president of Ukraine noted.

U.S. law enforcement "neutralized" the gunman, according to reports.
The incident is being investigated as an assassination attempt.
