Zelensky, Frederiksen discuss expansion of training missions for Ukrainian pilots
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen at a meeting in the UK discussed the expansion of training missions for Ukrainian pilots.
The head of state announced this on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.
"Ukraine values Denmark's leadership in providing support in the security sector, particularly through the provision of 19 defense aid packages. During our meeting with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, we discussed the implementation of the security cooperation agreement, our need to expand training missions for Ukrainian pilots, the reconstruction of Ukraine, and European integration," he wrote.
Zelensky thanked the Danish government for its decision to invest in Ukraine's defense industry.
On July 18, Zelensky is visiting the United Kingdom to participate in the 4th European Political Community Summit. Forty-seven heads of state and government are taking part in the meeting, including from 27 EU member states and 20 other countries of the continent.
