Zelensky meets with King Charles III of Great Britain

President Volodymyr Zelensky met with King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

The Head of State announced this in a message on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"I am grateful to King Charles III of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the audience," he wrote.

Zelensky stressed that the United Kingdom remains one of Ukraine's closest and most important allies.

"We appreciate all the support provided to the Ukrainian people," the president said.

As Ukrinform reported, on 18 July, Volodymyr Zelensky is on a visit to the UK, where he is taking part in the 4th Summit of the European Political Community. In total, 47 heads of state and government are taking part in the summit: 27 EU member states and 20 other countries of the continent.
