Trump vows to end all international crises if elected president
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has promised that he will end all international crises, including the war between Russia and Ukraine and the war in the Middle East, if voters support his candidacy in the U.S. presidential election.
He stated this in a speech at the National Republican Convention on Thursday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created, including the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which would have never happened if I was president, and the war caused by the attack on Israel, which would have never happened if I was president," Trump said.
He also stated that when he was in the White House, Iran was broke and had no money. Trump accused the current administration of allowing the Iranian regime to enrich itself and move closer to developing a nuclear weapon.
Trump said he would end years of war and chaos if elected president. In this regard, he noted that during his previous term, there were no wars except for the fight against ISIS.
"I could stop wars with a telephone call," Trump said.
Trump announced on Thursday that he accepted the nomination from the Republican Party to participate in the next presidential race as the only candidate.
