Instead of Zadorozhnyi: Rada wants to replace head of TSC on building fortifications
The Verkhovna Rada is proposing to appoint Oleksandr Bakumov as the head of the Temporary Special Commission (TSC) on the construction of fortifications and the purchase of drones instead of Mykola Zadorozhnyi, who was recently suspected by the NABU.
According to Ukrinform, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Voice faction) reported this in his Telegram.
"The coalition has replaced the chairman of the TSC on the construction of fortifications and the purchase of drones. Instead of the current head of the TSC, Mykola Zadorozhnyi, who recently received a suspicion from the NABU, it is proposed to appoint a new head of the TSC, Oleksandr Bakumov," Zheleznyak said.
Voting for the replacement will take place next week.
"I have been working with Oleksandr for 1.5 years in our TSC and I can only say positive things. And given that he is from Kharkiv, he is one of the best candidates for this position," Zheleznyak said.
As reported, prosecutors of the Specialised Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and NABU detectives exposed a current MP who demanded an undue benefit for not interfering with the repair of infrastructure in Sumy region.
According to media reports, it was Mykola Zadorozhnyi.
On 15 July, Zadorozhnyi was expelled from the Servant of the People party.
