Ukraine, Greece finalizing text of bilateral security agreement
The Office of the President of Ukraine held another round of talks with Greece on signing a bilateral security agreement.
That’s according to the website of the President of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
“On the instructions of the President of Ukraine and the Head of the Presidential Office, Deputy Head of the Office of the President Ihor Zhovkva held another round of negotiations with Greece on the signing of a bilateral security agreement,” the report says.
The parties continued their work on the draft document and scheduled further negotiations to finalize the agreement so that the leaders could sign it in the near future.
The President’s Office recalled that Ukraine has already concluded 25 bilateral security agreements in pursuance of the G7 Joint Declaration adopted in Vilnius last year. Ukraine is currently negotiating the signing of security documents with four other states.
As Ukrinform reported, 32 countries have joined the G7 Vilnius Declaration on Security Guarantees for Ukraine.
