UDCG leader-level meeting to take place in November – White House

A leader-level meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group is planned for November.

This was announced by White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre on Wednesday in Washington, following a phone call between U.S. President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as reported by Ukrinform.

"The two leaders also will discuss the leader-level Ukraine Defense Contact Group (meeting - ed.) which will be held next month to continue to give Ukraine the support it needs to prevail in this conflict," she said.

She did specify the exact date of the next Ramstein meeting, but promised that these would be announced in official statements at a later time.

Later, the White House clarified that the meeting will be virtual.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, Presidents Biden and Zelensky spoke by phone on Wednesday. The leaders discussed ongoing support for Ukraine and prospects for implementing Zelensky’s Victory Plan. They instructed their teams to hold further consultations on next steps.
