Ukrainian delegation in Switzerland taking part in Mine Action Conference

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal at the head of the Ukrainian delegation arrived in Switzerland to participate in the Mine Action Conference, where a meeting will be held with the leadership of Switzerland on issues of bilateral cooperation.

The head of government reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"A Ukrainian delegation arrived in Switzerland to participate in the Mine Action Conference. We are seeking maximum assistance from our partners in order to clear Ukraine of Russian mines as soon as possible. We are waiting for concrete agreements at the end of the conference," he wrote.

Shmyhal added that representatives from Ukraine will also hold meetings with the leadership of Switzerland, during which they will discuss topical issues of bilateral cooperation.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukraine’s Emergency Service’s sappers have defused 535,896 explosive items since February 24, 2022.
