Parliament leaders from 17 European countries and the EU arrive in Ukraine

On the third anniversary of Bucha’s liberation, speakers and vice-speakers from European parliaments have arrived in Kyiv.

The announcement was made by Ruslan Stefanchuk, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"Today Kyiv welcomes parliamentary representatives from all over Europe," Stefanchuk said.

The delegation includes speakers and vice-speakers from the parliaments of Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Sweden, as well as representatives from the European Parliament.

According to Stefanchuk, this visit serves as a strong symbol of support, solidarity, and trust.

"I am grateful to my colleagues for their willingness to stand by Ukraine. We appreciate every gesture, every meeting, every word, and every action that brings us closer to the victory of justice and lasting peace. Ukraine feels the support of its partners, and this is inspiring," he emphasized.

As reported, three years ago, on March 31, 2022, the Defense Forces of Ukraine liberated Bucha in the Kyiv region. During the month of occupation by Russian troops, 381 residents lost their lives, 281 of whom were killed in combat.
